OK so first thing is first, im not really active here YET at the same time i am.
Since last year i have returned to college to learn up on graphic design along with expanding my reach on a bunch of other programs such as Adobe type. I, also still work in the wonderful world of the THEATER MOVIE business.
If you can tell, balancing those aint an easy task. Especially when you got all day classes and then have to kick it into work right after. Soooo activity is near impossible on dA. Where as in twitter everything is like snap done. Honestly i prefer it more just due to the fact that it just feels less messy when compared to here. Will i leave deviantArt? NOPE. I mean I worked up so much and uploaded so much that its practically a portfolio at this point. Not only that but i also have a few tiny amount of folks that i keep up with here.(Speaking of, Discord, i got one just sayyiiin mostly mutual though)
Im also in that point of life where im looking to be in the business so thats gonna be stupid hard due to the fact that i live in the middle of Town of the nowhere texas soooo wish me luck
Another thing i like to point out is that my upload here is rather slow but there is a reason, being that I find it more fun to upload in bulk, so i been going by a weekly monthly thing when it comes to uploading.
I just find it easier to upload an entire set of things.
My reply speed is stupid slow here just due to well again, work and school. So its like a in and out thing when i log on to here!
That and well im not the most popular dude, so theres usually not much for me to reply too haha
but yeah again, im still around, im just more active on twitter and just busy with life.
A few rough patches here and there but by golly im still kickin! And must i say bunch of you folks seem to have grown quite a bit! Keep it up! Remember art is a constant work of progress and the only way is UP!

Taking a Small Break

Life happens, I posted up on my Twitter earlier today, but I just want to inform you that today my grandpa has passed away.
I won't be drawing or uploading for the coming days.
It was a peaceful passing, and well he passed surrounded by family and other loved ones.
Gone, but not forgotten, and though he is not here he lives on in all of us he helped raise to be my father, uncles, and aunts.
A big and huge loving family....
I love you abuelito, thank you for all the memories.
Love you guys and I'll be seeing y'all on the flipside.

1. What's the weirdest dream you've ever had?
I once had a dream that my mom and brother turned into monster enemies from Devil May Cry and they tried to make me evil. Yeah that was something.
2. What's the closest you've gotten to a "paranormal" experience.
Oh man. Call me crazy, but a few years ago when i was like, in high school i was having a very stressful week due to finals and on the verge of failing a class. I recall this due to it also being around or on the day of my gramps anniversary of him passing and on that night i remember being stupidly childish and pretty much got mad at my mom over something stupid that i stomped off and went to bed. So anyways i could not sleep and all that kept going on in my head is whatever reason i was mad at my mom for like i simply could not drop it! AND THATS WHEN IT HIT ME. NO, seriously, i remember mumbling something while looking up at the ceiling before the stronger slap smacked me across the face nearly turning my head to the side. Right then i immediately shut up and all that anger quickly went away. Really i didn't have a moment of fear and terror like you see in the movies, but more of a sense of clearness and well a bit of confusion on what just happened of the kinda slap you get to get a hold of yourself. After that i simply got into a comfortable position, closed my eyes and went to sleep. I did not tell anyone of that experience not even my mom till what, maybe 2 years ago? Yeah. Believe what you want, but i swear that had to be one of the most weirdest experiences i had. Mind you my old room was upstairs and i was completely alone, there was no way someone could have gone up there due to the auto light i had along with how loud my wooden stairway steps where, even the smallest and lightest of folk can make that thing creek.
I do not know man, believe what you want to believe, but i like to think it might have been Gramps coming in to slap some sense into me, especially for how i acted towards my own mother, and trust me, he was that kinda guy that would do that.
3. What object do you own that you have no idea how you acquired?
A random pen that i did not even pay for that was in my bag after i bought my new sketchook. Mind you that thing was not bundled with anything and was all wrapped up too.
4. What is a piece of media that flew way under the radar that you want more people to know about?
THE THEORY OF OBSCURITY: A FILM ABOUT THE RESIDENTS.
5. Classical or Modern art?
Both in honesty, but sometimes Classical is like looking into a different world. So i guess classical.
6. What was your favourite year on the internet?

7. What was the last movie you saw and what did you think about it?
Wonder Woman. Though it has its flaws it was a great flick, that and well free viewing cause of my job.
8. What place do you really want to visit but deep down you know you'd probably have a bad time there.

10. What's a moment from a cartoon or show you used to watch as a kid that made you uncomfortable for some bizarre reason?
One of the treehouse of horror episodes from The Simpsons. It involved a scene of Milhouse falling down to a giant blender and getting turned into a bloody explosion. I think it was around then that i realized that cartoons can bleed too.
11. Quick, grab something on your desk other than your computer mouse. What'd you end up grabbing?
A Harley Quinn dressed as a hula girl and bobbles around

Hell if i know, i tasted before on pizza and i did not enjoy any bit of it, pecked the bits off after and it still left a weird after taste.

13 Facts About Me:
- I started digital art do to being part of the Brony fandom whenever that kicked off. Poke at me with you want with that fact but if it was not for MLP i honestly would not even be on this website.
- I collect plenty of figures from shows, animes, games, etc. Mostly imported figures ranging from S.H. Figuarts, Gundam Gunpla, JJBA Super Action statues, i can go on.
- Since on the topic of figures, my most expensive collectibles i have are my Transformers Masterpiece Soundwave with all his cassettes and my official Blizzard Collectors statue of Reaper from Overwatch. Both where Christmas gifts to myself and glad i saved up for them. Probably be awhile till i buy anything that expensive.
- I am a t-shirt guy. Trust me, i got a ton of shirts, most of which i order online since i get tired of going to the local Hot Topic and with their limited selection. Got shirts ranging from skullgirls to black sabbath haha
- Though i dont want to get into much detail, when i was super young i was ran over. All i remember is waking up in a hospital and panicked, but they had Lion King playing on the tv and it kept me comfort. Since then, Lion King has been a personal and most adored films for me.
- Though as far as i gotten in digital art, i also want to sharpen my traditional art skills which i just now picked up on with pen drawings
- I love artbooks, specifically official art for things such as Gorillaz, Skullgirls, etc.
- I also have a strong love for film, specifically history. Horror, kaiju, animated are probably my most favorite genres
- I am the youngest out of my 4 siblings.
- My range of music varies greatly, if you ever look at my playlist its a mix of all sorts of genres, from old to new, and to the obscure
- Speaking of music, Gorillaz, Maitro, Pink Floyd, SHAG, Yung Bae, S.S.H., Mick Gordon, The Residents. I can go on with bands and artist i like but those are the ones off the top of my head
- I have a strong love for conspiracy, cryptids, weird science, paranormal stories and videos. Trust me, my subscriber list on YouTube shows it.
- Puedo hablar y escribir en español.....then again that happens when your parents are Mexico born. I talk it at home and on occasion outside if needed. Im a bit rough, but i know enough to get around.

Big ol word blabber coming up
first of all i want to just make one big ol journal to say thank you so much for all the birthday wishes and lil gifts i got for that day <3
I truly appreciate it from all of you guys, like wowie haha i stayed up a little late as well to just try to thank everybody on here
Like seriously i want to thank ALL OF YOU.
Not only for the birthday wishes and such, but along the day a lil birdy(or well more like a certain captain friend of mine) gave me the notice that i reached a solid 1,000 watchers.
Honestly......i am not sure what to say really, im sure to some this isnt anything too eventful or anything but wowie, im just really really really happy and well all warm and fuzzy that many people have been following me on here.
And man, the number of folks who have become really close to me here since the start.
Gosh, seriously you are talking about a dork who joined here and did nothing but pony art for a solid year and two.
Aha maybe i will have a much more proper journal to celebrate this little milestone.
I dont know, i never really thought i would make it this far here to begin with and with my art, heck i think i mentioned this so many times before but there was a time on here when i was just thinking of calling it quits and just stopping with the entire digital art scene.
I am really happy that i didnt, not only have i grown on my skills, but i have met some of the most wonderful on here.
Look bros again im all jittery and excited here just trying to type this out just thank you all so much for sticking along with me for so long and so far, i have no other way of putting this aside as simple as it is, just thank you, every single one of you for watching me, commenting, faving, or just simply passing by.
Every little bit of support, of any has been greatly appreciate it, even when times are a bit rough i always have you guys here for support.
Sometimes i even wonder why, i mean like....idk haha, you ever just think that? I mean sometimes i feel like i dont even socialize much here, or i just kinda leave half baked ideas and such.....im really at that point where i do and i want to make a carrier of some sort, but my main focus is to just keep on building on my skills, my characters, and well also education and job....baby steps though, baby steps. All things worked for may vary in time, but at the end it is worth it, am i right?
